I don't know of any friends who have been in accidents but this shook her up. I told her mom to keep an eye on both the kids and take it easy the next few days. No scary or tragic movies.

I haven't had any tragic moose stories in my own life (yet). I run/ride up on them all the time on the trails and sometimes get close enough for a hackles-up bluff. June/July is the worst because the protective moms with calves.
