Hope you're spending Thanksgiving with your son. I am headed back up your way to be with the in-laws. I'll think of you and smile while on the Merritt.

I'm about three miles north (left) of there.

Interestingly, I read recently that one of John Lennon's favorite things to do when he just wanted to think, was to rent a car and drive himself the entire length of the Merritt Parkway and back because it was so beautiful and serene.

It is beautiful, my favorite part of the drive, by far. I am a tad bit anxious about when we should leave and howwe should go. I have some not-so-fond memories of trying to get to the GW bridge when S9 was a baby and actually having to get him out of the carseat and nurse him because we were literally sitting still for a full hour and he was screaming his lungs out from hunger. Maybe Tappan Zee tomorrow/Thursday???

Yes, I will be with son on Thanksgiving, my brother, SIL and two nephews. Stepson was going to come. I doubt it now. He is supposedly angry or upset at me (or so STBXW stated). I've sent 1 Voice mail, 2 emails and 2 FB comments. No reply (details on my 11/22. 9:45 pm post, if you're interested). This is very uncharacteristic unheard of from him, behavior-wise.
