Well I am not wasting my pretty any more. Attorney just emailed, he wants to meet the week of 12/7 to write up a settlement proposal. Wow. Only 2 weeks...if Dan agrees to it which I imagine he will, I will be all but divorced before Christmas. Just a matter of the waiting period...
Double Wow! Things sure do move fast out there in Iowa - divorced before Christmas!! Here in Virginia you have to live separated in "Limboland" for 1 year (if kids are involved) before you can even file for divorce, which is not a bad thing IF there is an even remote chance of reconcilliation.

Well he moved out at New Year's so we are coming up on a year, anyway...
I wouldn't be legally divorced at Christmas. I may, however, have all the paperwork done by Christmas. Then it is just a waiting game. Would it be ironic if they signed off on April Fool's Day???
My atty already emailed me back. Set up a meeting for December 9. So in 15 days I will be writing up my settlement...
