Great--I'm still at 7--will def. do some tonight. I just went to bed early and woke up fever-free so far! Thanks for your prayers, NC! No word on the job yet, but it was a total cattle call, and I don't have a good feeling about it. Oh, well.

Weird morning. I took D10 and S16 to the dentist this am for 9:30 appts. I noticed X's car in the parking lot across the way when I was pulling out of the dentist parking lot. Then I dropped D10 back at her school. X is parked in the school parking lot, and was walking up to me as I pulled out of the parking lot. I did not stop, partially b/c of the last time he confronted me at her school.

Then he was driving behind me I noticed, and at one red light pulled up alongside my car. I didn't really look too much over; didn't want eye contact with the crazy person. It was a short light, and I pulled out of that one asap. At that point, I no longer saw his car; there aren't anymore red lights after that, a straight drive to my house which I made without stopping. I was shaking.

I'm thinking stalker, but do you think there could be some normal explanation?

Karen,
Maybe you could text him and say I didn't notice you at school until I had already pulled out. Was there something you needed? By texting him I see this as twofold...he can't say he was trying to tell you something and you wouldn't talk to him (in case he tattles to L) and and secondly it lets him know that you saw him creeping around!

Karen, that's creepy. I would document every place you saw him and send it to your lawyer. That's just odd for him to show up at the dentist, then at school too. How did he know about the dentist? I don't think I'd email him. I bet he sends you something soon.

He is acting creepier than normal. Just a few more weeks! Get your L's take on it. Of course I will be thrilled when you don't have to deal with her either! I wonder if someone from the school called him because they weren't in class. Just a thought.

Glad you are feeling better.

It is good to hear you are feeling better, Karen. Remember to take it easy though until you are fully free of the illness.

On your H: I am a little worried for you now, Karen -- it sounds like your H is stalking you and the kids. That is disturbing. He should have no business with you that cannot be handled by email, or even a phone call. He really has no business showing up at the places in public you are at.

Talk to your L.

I suspect he's getting anxious with the court date looming. He may overplay his hand and make some serious mistakes.

I will mention X's weird behavior to the L. Will be meeting with her 2 or 3 times next week she says. frown It seems creepy to me he's following me around like that.

I do think the stress of the upcoming trial is making him act this way. Maybe. I am doing volunteer work at the church today and tomorrow with the kids helping this year too. We're going to feed about 250 people, so should be wonderful!

I emailed him last night asking for a meeting time to pick up the kids today. He is working all day, and emailed I need to pick them up at his apt. How silly for him to have had them at all last night I think. He picked them up at 6 at the food bank where we were working, and then I'm going to pick them up in an hour so we can come back to my town. Just so he can get credit for an overnight for himself. crazy

Hope everyone's having a wonderful day and have a happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!!!

I agree that your L needs to hear it-Now. That is pretty creepy.

You know that he has a history of anger, maybe by telling him that you saw him skulking around you can stop it before he works himself into a tizzy.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I feel like for the first time in a few years, I am in a position to really take stock of what I have to be thankful for!

Ps, the clerk job was filled, I applied for it myself and I was ineligible because I couldnt type 40 WPM, 38 wasnt enough! Not to mention the fact that I have worked at that desk and done that job already! grumble grumble.
