Do roses grow in Tucson? Are desert bobcats capable of smelling a rose like a duck or a beaver? Can the word masoli be used as a verb, noun, adverb and adjective?
These questions, and many more, will be answered tomorrow evening at Arizona Stadium.
Though I am really skeptical! Seeing what the Ducks did to SC was SCARY! Buy then Stanford rolled SC,and the 'Cats beat Stanford???? And Stanford beat the Ducks, in a game that must have been pretty similar to the 'Cats-Cardinal game....
I'm so confused!
I think Oregon is the better team. But, UofA has been full of surprises, and is really a couple of bad breaks (unusually bad, not run of the mill bad!) from being 8-1. (And if they'd started the right QB at Iowa....?????)
I think Arizona stadium will be at it's loudest in years, if not ever. I hope the Ducks like red, because they will be seeing a lot of it!
My conclusion, based on nothing at all....
If it's close, the 'Cats have a chance. (That's close as in high scoring and close. I don't see 17-14!)
If it's a blowout, I think the Duck will be waddling home happy.
It is going to be a high scoring game for both teams.
The Ducks lost both their games on the road and the Cats have not lost at home.
Wildcat fans all know that they have never been to the Rose bowl and I bet they want it more than anything. Enough so that they might make a bit of noise when Oregon is trying to make some snaps.
If the Cats get by the Ducks, they still have to travel to meet their bitter up-state devilish rivals and then travel to play the Trojans.
IF IF IF..... the 'Cats beat the Ducks, I think they wil steamroll the Devils.... they just are not very good.
As far as SC goes? Who knows? Which SC team shows up? Will they even be interested? I don't have a clue how to pick that one. I know that when UofA stuck with Stanford, and Stanford played will in that game... and them demolished the Trojans. But does that mean a thing? I dunno!
But none of that matters a whit. Duck is the only dish on the menu this week!
If they wanted a fierce mascot they should have chosen the Goose!
Wikipedia is full of crap!
I think the crowd should get the 'Cats off to a good start, unless they freeze up! This is pretty new to them! But it's a long game, especially with offenses like these two.
I went to the Stanford game, after about 3 minutes I told the kids it was going to take 40 to win! And that almost wasn't enough.
