Up to 80% today, not at my full 100% BBJ-ness but getting there! smile

Oh, and

Push, meet Shove

Atty's office emailed me today. Apparently there is only a 90 day window on the initial petition. They asked for details to have Dan served. I forwarded him the email. Told him he can either return the notice, or it is Option 2 time...

Oddly enough this morning he had already texted me three times. First to see if I was feeling better.

Then to say he was glad I was feeling better.

Then a comment about my best pal/roomie. Remember, Dan and I go back to H.S. so he knows Missy, my sorority daughter/roomie/buddy pretty well. Whenever he came to my college town the last 2 years I was there, she usually went out with us.

Anyway he commented "Surprising between you and Missy you would be the one with stomach troubles"

(She was always lactose intolerant/irritable bowel girl....)

So anyway it has been an interesting morning. One more hour and I am off work (tok a 1/2 personal day) and headed out to prep for girl time!!

Give him a date - say next Tuesday when you need it. Otherwise, have J W Pepper or Buford T Justice pay him a visit.

Here ya go John!

Option 1: He returns the form to me

Option 2: He gets served

i.e., Push or Shove

Wish me luck in having a great time and not overindulging in Margaritas! I have had enough nausea already this week!

What is it that you girls are doing again?

Sorry, shove is going to have to happen. Dan will drag his feet until time expires because what Dan wants, Dan gets. You come about 4th on the list after job, cows, & kids. Do it BBJ. Stop giving him time. Next it's going to be...oh, it's Thanksgiving and I can't, or it's almost Christmas and wouldn't that be a crappy thing to do over Christmas.

Nope! No way! Not crappy....necessary.

Get 'er Done BBJ!

First, re Dan, Christmas is not an option. We have 15 days until the petition expires. So they WILL serve him. And I already know he is going to be out of the country for 12 of the first 18 days of December (Merry Christmas!). So he will get served sooner than later so we don't miss the window.

This weekend is my first ever girls' weekend! My best friend from college and I are getting together.

She was my pledge daughter in my sorority. Then we became roommates my senior year. We did everything together, running, partying, flirting, watching cyclone basketball, you name it, we did it!

I haven't seen her in over 2 years. She came out to visit me in K.C. from Indiana the summer Dan had started his PA. It wasn't confirmed yet but the night she was there she told me she could see he was treating me like crap being crabby with me, etc etc. So she wasn't surprised when I told her what was up. She has known everything since Day 1, including my current dating situation. She loves me unconditionally and vice versa!

So now she lives in Northern Iowa. We are meeting in Des Moines for 2 nights. We plan to go for a run Sat morning and have put out an invite on FaceBook for all college/sorority alums to join us for dinner and margaritas on Saturday night. But we really don't care if it winds up just being us...shopping, talking, jacuzzi time, it will be a blast!

I am hoping the Hangover is on PPV b/c I am dying to see it!!

BBJ - Are you near Iowa City? I go there for work, and may get called there in the near future. smile

What house were you? I was Sigma Kappa. (Only sorority on campus w/a liquor license! LOL We were damn cool! Just ask us!)

Also, I saw you were sick. I have pneumonia now! Ick! Just starting to feel like myself after two shots in the rear, and three doses of antibiotic!

Sorry you are sick MF--ooh that is a fun nickname, makes you sound all bad! wink (She's one tough MF, I tell ya what!)

I am in extreme SW Iowa, 15 miles to Omaha, NE and 40 miles to the Missouri border...5 hours to get to Iowa City.

My sorority is not national. We were a private, supposedly 'dry' campus. So they didn't want the 'influence' of national Greek organizations. Really to us it just meant we could make our own rules! grin Our name is Sigma Phi Omega, and we have existed since 1969. Pretty young in sorority terms...
