In my first marriage , ex wife was very controling. While my D19 was growing up, my first wife would walk all over me, and I would let her and it would frustrate my present W that I would let her. Who knows maybe my present W will see this as a positive step for me for sticking up for myself.

Anybody else want to answer this? Anyone? Anyone?

only thing that comes to mind is this scene from there's something about mary.

Dom: You choke the chicken before any big date, don't you? Tell me you spank the monkey before any big date. Oh my God, he doesn't flog the dolphin before a big date. Are you crazy? That's like going out there with a loaded gun! Of course that's why you're nervous. Oh my dear friend, please sit, please. Look, um, after you've had sex with a girl, and you're lying in bed with her, are you nervous? No, you're not, why?
Ted: Cause I'm tired...
Dom: Wrong! It's 'cause you ain't got the baby batter on the brain anymore! Jesus, that stuff will fk you're head up! Look, the most honest moment in a man's life are the few minutes after he's blown his load - now that is a medical fact. And the reason for it is that you're no longer trying to get laid, you're actually... you're thinking like a girl, and girls love that.

Sorry for changing threads. I am going to stick to this one.

Anyway, I have another question. I am going to pick my D17 up after basketball practice and I wasn't sure if I should give her a heads up about me moving back in this weekend? We have an excellant relationship and she understands whats going on. Or is it best not to say anything to her?

My knee jerk reaction is not to tell her. If you tell her, and there is ANY chance she will get pi$$ed, then the locks get changed and you are SOL.

Be strong. She used to you not being so. It's uncomfortable at first, but you grow into it.

maybe recommend it might be best if she sleeps over at a friends this weekend. without saying why.

have you figured out where you are going to sleep once you move your stuff back into the house?

btw. how much stuff did you take out? clothes? bedding? furniture? i'd make it one clean sweep of bringing everything back in at once. I'm back. w/a smile.

It is a 3 bedroom house, so I am not to worried about that. I only have my cloths, dresser,tv and computer. I will pack everything in my enclosed trailer.

I am not going to tell my daughter. She is a big girl and will be able to handle it. My W will be upset because she could not let her daughter know first. "Oh Well"

You gonna claim your bed back also, or have you thought through this. I always was ready to comeback at anything my wife gave me, as I had gone through all of the worst case scenarios.

I anticapate that she will let me sleep in our bedroom. Besides the other bedroom has a bigger closet.
