Good for you! I'm looking forward to hearing how you do on the medication. For me, it was like the crazy-talking part of my mind just shut down.

I've been keeping up on everything you've been doing. It sounds like you are getting on the right track finally, and you've been getting really good advice from everyone else.

So get a good night's sleep. smile

Glad you're on your way to feeling better, Britt.

I think I might need to get something to help me sleep.

Attagirl! grin

These will help you. Take awhile to kick in, tho -- did the doc tell you that? I think these were the same ones I took; are they little blue oval pills?

I am proud of you! Good job!

Doc can also prescribe sleeping pills.

Melatonin is an over the counter sleeping aid that works well.

There is a relaxation technique in THE PSI BASIC CD Set that gets me to sleep in less than 10 minutes.

Puppy, not sure what they look like yet, I'm going to fill the prescription this morning. He didn't mention that they take a while to kick in though. How long? It was kind of an informal meeting in the staff room so I don't blame him for getting to into it.

As for the meds I hope they help. I'm not sure what anxiety really is but would they help me with something like this?

Yesterday I talked to H on the phone about S3's preschool and his was with his father at the time so it was quite brief as he didn't want to say too much in front of him. Good quick conversation. Then I needed to get a number of one of his buddies at work so I could contact his girlfriend for her rsvp for my baby shower on sunday. So I quickly called H, and asked for the number. He gave it to me. I said "Thanks!" He then said "wait, I'll give you his cell too", so he looked on his directory and couldn't find it. I said " No problem thanks again" He then goes "Soooooooooo....ya" It was awkward, and I really felt like he was trying to think of something to say but couldn't. Now normally this wouldn't mean anything, but to me right now it does. Is this anxiety? I didn't dwell on it ALL night, but I certainly thought about it a few times as a means of hope. Would you classify this as anxiety? Hung up on his every word?

Like I said; when I started to take my meds, I felt like the stressed-out portion of my mind took a break. I can't really describe what it was like before the meds, but I feel more emotionally stable.

What it means is, he's having trouble figuring out this new state of affairs. He wants to reach out to you but isn't sure how.

Just keep playing it cool. The idea is to push him towards pursing you, and it's hard to do if you don't play hard-to-get. wink

Well, my hope is that the Xanax will cut down on the anxiety, which should help you detach.
