I love to watch soccer. Let's face it...I love to watch most sports so one that is fast paced and involves some acting ability (however weak it sometimes is...I believe the Italian team takes classes on it though!) makes soccer one of my FAVES.

That was awesome Frank. He made it look so simple. I still like the coconut syrup on my banana pancakes.

Cant watch that here, at work...

I have been reading a very inetersting article about the Greek Language. I was amazed to realise how every word was "created" and the meanings it had in ancient Greek...

First example that I told John about and he couldnt get it - lol,
in Greek the word human/man is "anthropos" which means "he who looks up, to the divine", in Latin the word is Homo which for Greeks means dust/dirt/sand... So, for Greeks humans are aiming to the divine and in latin humans are....dirt!!!

But, what made me think was the explanation of the word free "eleftheros". According to this article, the word free in Ancient Greek was synonym to "the man that can be/go where he loves" or can be explained as "be with whome he loves"...

Interesting huh? If the artcile is accurate...

Well I guess thats as in "from dust to dust" as it says in the Bible (originally written in latin?). I wish I had studied Latin at school, I had the option.. instead though, I did Ancient Greek Studies! Yay. It was my favourite lesson.

So, I thikn I missed something.. you DO want a banana desert, not a man banana, the Greek team did get into the World Cup, but you're not excited about that (why, becuase your husband will have to work MORE hours??), you think the word freedom means, to be with the one you love?

Ok then my question is, do you love your husband !? Seeing as you say it upsets you that he cant tell you he loves you, I was wondering if you tell him you love him?

England got into the World Cup too! Bf is VERY excited.

I wanted banana pancakes not a man banana, they made it to World Cup, I dont give a damn about it, I READ the word freedom in Ancient Greek meant that...

Do I love my H? Al, I think I would bore people with my asnwer. We've been thru this before... Suffice to say, I think that the Quantum of Solace is still there and it will always be there. You see I cant just erase our past, it was an exciting and fun ride we had together, I've grown up (too much actually), I am a mom, BUT, with him, I am not a woman. I dont feel sexy, loved, protected, desired. So, I am thinking, it's time to make a decision and follow it through. I am just taking my time.

You know what I am worried about? What if we have the opposite problem people have here? What if we want to spend time together and be friends and stay attached? How healthy would that be? I dont see us completely separating our lives. Not unless another person steps in...

How healthy would that be at this stage do you think?
I am thinking the answer to your other thoughts might depend on how much you value yourself and what you truly believe you deserve from life.

Why do you think that remaining friends and staying attached at this stage would be unhealthy,I guess that also depends what your definition is of "attached".

Not for me to say but just a thought as ridiculous as it may seem but do you think that by saying you are going to make a decision but taking your time keeps you safe, like fence sitting. You are not available because you are making a decision and therefore can't actually reach that decision because you are taking your time.

You don't actually need your husband to make you feel like a woman,or sexy etc that can just be a "mind" thing, but I do appreciate the fact that a male can certainly help boost you in that department.

Take care.

Hello DEAR friend!!!! How are you?????

Yeah, I read it now and that looked stupid. You are right. But I meant it's time to make a final decision and because it muct be final, I have to proceed with caution.

And my not unless another person steps in was relevant to the future R we could have. I bet no new person would appreciate and be happy about 2 exs spending much time with each other, you know?

And, I need MY man to feel sexy, etc etc. It's the way I am wired. And I am fine with that. How sexy would I feel on an isolated island? Horny maybe, sexy, hmmm? Nope.
K

Good to see you back!!

Ok, well seeing as its not your thread, lol, I will post here something yuo put in piecing. You said....
Quote:
He hasnt said he loves me yet!! I know it may sound childish but it is serious for me.

But then you said here...

..Maria...seriously, why do you want your husband to tell you he loves you (and thats not the first time yuo have posted about it) if you are also saying, you dont really love him as such???

That you just have a small degree of comfort left that will never die? That doesnt make any sense. Why would you want a man to tell you he loves you (which is an extrodinary, special thing)if you wont/cant say it to him, or you dont feel the same way!?? Do you think he may sense that dont love with him anymore?

I think you are an archetypal two fish heads swimming in opposite directions. You sound confused. If you're confused, imagine how he feels. And you've been proceeding with caution for.. 3 years !!!

??? xxx
