Well back to no kids for a few days. This just doesn't seem to get easier.

Sorry to say that you will get used to it over time. You will always miss them when they are away. Just be sure to fill your kidless days with things that focus on YOU. This is the time to GAL.

...my parents are coming for a visit for the weekend so that will be good. I also have girls night sat night, and I'm hosting a baby shower for a good friend of mine on sunday. So lots of "me" time coming this weekend. I'm excited.

Problem, called the walk in clinic to get their afternoon hours and they are closed due to H1N1. Our city is having a huge breakout right now. I work at the hospital tonight and I'm told I have to check in at the front and get certain scrubs before I head up to my floor. Anyways, so I called my "quack" doctor and he can't get me in until next wed. And I work that day. Not sure what I'm going to do. The lady at the walk in clinic told me they would probably refer me to my family doc anyways. So I don't know. He has a walk in clinic in his office, but its only thurs. nights. And I work tomorrow evening. So I may have to wait now until next thurs. walk in clinic in the evening. Nothing else I can do.

Having a bad day. Can't seem to get H off my mind. Really just missing him today. Missing talking to him, touching him, sharing our boys with him, cooking for him, making his work lunch for him, sleeping with him, waking up with him. All in all, I just miss him.

I had one of these down days earlier this week. Times like these are certainly hard to get through. Try to get a good night's sleep. I know, easier said than done. Been there.

Well I am happy to report I have a prescription!!!! I am a unit clerk at our hospital and during shift tonight I mentioned to a doctor on rounds how I need to see a doctor but dislike my family doc. He asked me why and I told him. He then took me into the staff room and asked me what was up and before you know it I had a prescription in my hands! He also accepted me as a new patient! Yay!
