I wish all DB FBers would give their FB noms de plume along with their real name - like you did -when they .alt. I often don't know who the heck I'm responding to or friending.
I'm just lousy at computers (This is my very first Forum/Chat Room and Facebook sometimes just gets me apoplectic!)
And to think I spent 21 years with IBM. Though, as I told Thinker today, back then the "computers" were the size of Buicks and the Computer "room" the size of a football field!

Mike, my son has handed my butt to me in tennis and bowling but I killed him at golf. Go figure! I don't golf.
I totally burst through the door at my C office tonight. She asked how my week was and I told her that these last few days have been beyond awesome! Marc's black belt and then Christmas came early! When I told her about all of you and how much your kindness changed my attitude she smiled and changed the approach she was originally going to take tonight.
She asked me what the best way to show my gratitude to you all would be. I think it would be by making a commitment to you all right here, right now.
Not only am I using this system to connect more with Marc. That is an extremely important part of this, but this is also going to be about me. That Wii Fit is going to be incorporated into my daily life. I have already set up a daily workout goal on it and done it. It's tough! It's what I need to motivate me.
She asked me to make a commitment to you all so you can help keep me on goal.
The way I'm going to do this, per her suggestion, is that I will take a 'before' picture and give to all of you. I will then give you updated pics every 4 months. I will be accountable to you all for changing my life and my health. For me. For Marc. For my future.
What you all have done for me is so much more than a game. It's wonderful, of course, but it's not just the material gift that is changing my life. You are changing my beliefs in myself. You have shown me that in some small way, I have made a difference in your lives. You thought that I was worth all of this effort and that is totally life changing for me. To know that people care enough for me to do this is making me believe that I'm worth something and I'm worth saving.
My ultimate goal is to feel better, be stronger, and feel comfortable in my own skin.
You will all be in my every thought as I take this journey.
I love all of you more than words can say.
