How do you go about removing 500 profiles? Do you get that many emails and winks? By removing, is it just a block?
John has the right idea with the coffee, although, I still dont want to be face to face on a first date. I like to go for a walk. It also gives me a chance to size them up when they walk in front of me.
There are a few ways to remove them. All are the same principle.
When you look at "Who's Viewed Me", you get a series of profiles. The top right corner of each, I believe, has a small circle with an 'x' in it. You just click on the 'x' and it says, "Don't show this person again". It doesn't mean they can't contact you, it just means it won't show up if they view you again down the road. It also won't show up in your searches.
Then, if you do a search, you get pages of profiles. Again, each has a small circle at the top right corner. Click it, and the same thing happens.
Third, if you are looking at one specific profile, and then decide you are not interested, on the right side of the page there are a few options, I think in blue. One says "Block this person from searches", one says "Block this person from contact". Those are self-explanatory...
Finally, you can go under your account, there is a section called "Blocks". If the person has bothered you and you don't want them to contact you, in addition to you not viewing them, you put a block on them. I only did that to a few who sent me rather suggestive messages.
Oh, and if you accidentally block/hide the wrong person, just go back into your account and you can 'unblock' them. Jeff, know you know what I am doing when I am up until 1 a.m.!
Pretty much any guy who is topless and/or flexing for the camera in his profile pic gets removed by me...
My best friend says the rule of thumb for first date is lunch during the work week, because there is a set time. But I am not so sure that always works. I do like the coffee idea from John, and I might try that one next time.
Im still standin better than I ever did looking like a true survivor feeling like a little kid Im still standin after all this time and Im picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind..
LOl... ya'll got me looking at that site... OMG to funny... how many pictures do they think we want to see of their flipping motorcycles, trucks and such? The names are so funny too. Plus, yea I mean if they are on the beach with their friends and they post a picture of that...ok but to pose in front of your bathroom mirror ... gross
Also, uummm you can tell when it's a picture of them with the ex is cut out seriously.... good entertainment... but sadly I feel this will be my option too... as I have no singles to really go out with.
Also, some of the pictures had dates of 2006 on them.. Really.. to lazy to take new ones?

Oh no I love the ones w/ either the ex wife or girlfriend in it, or they have tried to remove them. The ones that don't smile and try to look vicious and end up looking just plain idiotic...

First, K...if he is naturally well-built, I don't mind seeing a photo at the beach or pool without a shirt on. It is actually kind of nice!
But when the guy is standing in his bathroom in front of the mirror with a camera, taking a picture of himself, that is just wrong!
And yes, SC, there are a ton showing off cars, trucks, hunting trophies, motorcycles, etc. I have seen a few where the girl is right there in the picture smiling, others where they somehow blurred out the girl's face but her body is there....geez!
The most interesting was prob the guy who had 5 pictures all with a full head of hair, but under description it said, "Bald". Guess his pictures were old...
It's interesting. I'd rather have a date be pleasantly surprised when they meet me in person than feeling like they'd been tricked! Am I doing it wrong?
