Did you print a copy? Always keep a printed copy of whatever you find because you never know when they'll delete everything. I still have mine in a safe place just in case.
My instinct would be to tell you do not ask H about this friend. You don't want to tip him off that you know what's going on. Of course I'll defer to Puppy's advice.
How are you feeling? Holding up ok? If you need to get angry/sad/upset go ahead and do it, just not in front of H.

I screen printed a copy and stuck in a folder where I don't think he will find it. Printer has no ink and ironically I was suppose to go buy some today but the weather was so crap I did not feel like bundling everyone to go out today. Guess I will be buying ink tomorrow.
I am so glad I can talk here. I have not mentioned anything to family or friends.
Caveat: If you forward a copy to yourself, check the account settings to see if it automatically saves the sent messages. If so, go in and delete the copy forwarded to you.

Thanks for the tips. I won't email it as he can access my mail. I would rather keep it that way so he knows I am not hiding anything if he snoops my messages. If the time comes when I need a private email, I'll sign up for gmail or something.

If you use Firefox for your web browser, you should know that it has a Private Browsing mode: when activated, no passwords or cookies are stored, and pages that you visit are not kept in browser history. I would turn that on before visiting any new email accounts.
It also has a Clear Recent History feature, which allows you to erase the past hour's worth of browsing history (in case you forget to turn on Private Browsing).

the last few days, I have been using private browsing on safari (instead of always deleting the history, etc..) but I have firefox on my computer too. H uses firefox and all the computers are set up to delete everything when the window is closed. One reason it is really hard to check and see what he has been looking at on the internet.
