Well...let's see. First he said it was because of the bankruptcy, and I asked him if he wanted me to ask about that because I think it is illegal to fire someone because of financial status. So then he came clean and said one of his co-workers filed a complaint against him for theft because he refused to remove children from their homes. (Remember he is CPS investigator).

Now, I don't think stbx stole anything, but I could see him pissing someone off enough to try to get him fired. Apparently child protective services is reconducting a background check on him now.

He sent me the opening text about the waiver, but I get the impression that was an excuse to lead into this when he asked me if I had a copy of the bankruptcy petition that I could send him. Okay, I am not so ticked at him anymore so I will send a copy, no biggie, but curiosity got the best of me and I had to ask.
