Update:
So went to communication class on Saturday. Went OK. Slight spat in middle of afternoon. There are obvious issues that surface during our communication and I'm not sure they'll go away before MLC resolves.

I still don't feel confident that H will not leave again...and maybe I shouldn't. Its hard to act "As if" he won't leave all of the time.
