My mom gave me the trash bag speech back in high school too. I didn't believe her the first time.
Then she did it. And I had to go dumpster diving for the things I really wanted to rescue. She pretended not to see, but I know she knew my sister and I rescued stuff. But we cleaned the room. And the next time she threatened it, we moved a lot faster lol.

You think I could do that with an 8yr old and 7 yr old? I have done something similar a few times where we pick out together what they dont want and give it to other kids or throw away, but lately, they refuse to throw away anything and their room is getting "tight"... They are so... cute I cant get myself to upset them. K
No news from here. S12 had a soccer game yesterday, they played the team that beat them 8-2 a few weeks ago, and seemed like a real mismatch. Well, something changed between then and now, because his team won 2-1! He's the keeper, and made a couple of nice saves, so it was all around a lot fun game!
I've been feeling a little off this weekend, I thought I might be coming down with the flu, but now I don't think so. I haven't had any fever, and it's not getting worse. A bit of a nagging headache, but I'm drugging that up, so I hope it will go away. Didn't sleep well the last two nights, but stayed in bed a lot to make up for it!
Way to go.... I love soccer... my daughter's team is 8-1 so they are ranked number #1....

I am feeling better, but this morning I was still really out, so I decided to stay home. I think it was a good idea. I am hoping that I have headed off things getting worse.
