I feel like the ugliest, lonliest person in the world.

this is why you are not seeing any attention. IMHO. it's a cycle, you need to build your confidence, and build your positivity, and I believe you will see more attention thrown your way. I'm sure people have a sense of kinda staying at a distance with you because they can sense the tension in your life.

just my thought. you just keep focusing on those positives and be thankful for your life every single day.

and don't feel bad for hoping that your m could be saved. there is nothing wrong with wanting that. It is only wrong if you allow him to come back as he is, and if you allow yourself to dwell on this hope and not move forward.

on the cs papers, if it were me, I would write something and let him know that you are making this decision. I think even though he will be pissed, it will be lessened, and I think it is the more considerate thing to do, if you let him know than if he just all the sudden gets some paperwork. and yes, I realize that he isn't even close to considerate, but 2 evils don't make good. Just make it all about D and how you know that he loves her and wants the best for her (you say this so he doesn't go straight to being defensive) and you do to, and your attorney said this was the best way to protect her well being.
