Okay I posted that last one while catching up...

NOW about this "discovery"...excellent insights there Nightshade...could very well be OW trying to sabotage your R...again! LOSER!!

Here's something that just came to me however...just how long ago did he end it with OW (and IF you can trust her a potential other ow...where would he find the time???).

I ask because ...I pulled on my favourite jeans yesterday and in straighening out my pocket, found a big folded coupon thing I'd put there THREE WEEKS ago when we went to the home-show!!!

Now I've worn those jeans a fair bit (at least 3X a week since) and never new the stupid thing was there...was rather horrified to know I hadn't washed those jeans in that long a time!

So hang on....((((((((((((((Opt))))))))))))))))))

JMHO, but if I found something like that on CJ, NOW, at this point, I would ask him about it. It's not like you were snooping...or would he take it that way???

Hey shiny...sometimes even I I'm not really sure of what I am hehehe OK here goes.. I'm in Canada. Was born in Portugal, lived there on and off and it's the place I consider "home". Due to my dad's job - my adoptive dad - I lived in many other countries and had a blast learning about and visiting themost wonderful places in the world!!!
MY birthmother is from Brazil with brazilian indian and italian ancestry, and my birthftather from ANgola. NOw can you find more diversity than this????? LOL
NO wonder even I get confused.
And yes.. before you wonder.. I have lots of bagage weighting me down from the past. The most important one being the need to belong, to be loved for what I am.- but that's another story .
Still I am as optimistic a person as you can find, and really stubborn so it's difficult to really get me down... sometimes I just lie down a bit to rest.. but it doesn't take long :)

Saudade.... well it's all you described. Much stronger than just missing, and not easily understood until you feel it. Then it doesn't need translation, it's there in your heart.

ANyway good idea about the paper missing in your jeans pocket. It happens to me a lot... ONce I even founf a $100 bill I had left in my pocket don't even remember why LOL

Twin it's a pity it wasn't one of those you found instead of the note huh? Just joking, not trying to minimize what you're feeling right now:)
Just sit still, don't let anything out you might regret and be your own adorable self.

Hugsies

US dollars or Canadian?

Shiny, the word "saudade" comes from the Latin word "solitas" (loneliness) and denotes "a feeling of nostalgic remembrance of people or things, absent or forever lost, accompanied by the desire to see or possess them once more." The etymological dictionary's definition.

Or a yearning so intense for those who are missing, or for vanished times or places, that their absence is the most profound presence in one's life. a state of being, rather than merely a sentiment.

Of course, translating 'saudade' merely as 'yearning' is as simplistic as translating 'fado' as 'fate'

I know, but delving into etymology is healthier than the alternative

My brother's GF is from Brazil.

Good Morning Opt,

I hope you are feeling some better after some sleep, which I hope you got some, and better able to think today.

Opt,

Is there any logical explaniation for the note because of H's job?

If you found it innocently, could you just causually say, Hey, what is this all about, it was in your pocket when I was doing luandry.

Or just ignore it and chalk it up to alien antics. With many possible scenarios.

H is there. I suspect feelings of guilt and regret have to go through his mind and contribut to feelings of being down and unable to sleep. Keep being you, doing your best, taking care of yourself and paddling away!

There might be Jackie. I just do not know what is logical or not anymore.

I think I will ask him in a kind of casual way, to see what happens. I nearly did this morning but we had no time.

He slept better today.

I borrowed a page of Pam's book and copied my old threads to read. Let's see what I learn from them.

I the mean time I noticed that I have stopped posting my 3 positives a day (and Sage has not reminded me/ 2x4'd me about it). So let's try:

1. He admitted to fault in the sitch (when I was blaming myself for telling my parents).
2. He called to tell me where he was.
3. He mentioned a meeting this morning and told me he would call to go together.

And if I have time at lunch, I may drop by his office casual-like

I still have none. Will get the red on my way if I have time. That is what traffic lights are for!

Do you remember the name of that horoscope thing Sage is always quoting from? I am still looking for a thread name.
