Gardening works. I heard it's very relaxing. Me.. well.. let's put it this way.. I can kill aloe vera ok? It takes a special kind of talent for that heheheheh Garden never calls me, unless it's to appreciate the wonderful work someone else did. Mine....well.. with my way less than green thumb would probably look pitiful LOL Have fun gardening and don't even think about anything while you're at it.. Just let the mind go empty for a bit. It works wonders:)

Actually, Pam, weeding is every bit as addictive (and never-ending) as BBing. And apart from the exercise (squat, bend, pull) it can be a great stress reliever (you can imagine OW in each dandelion and your boss in each crab grass...)
But I am planting today! Lavender, rockroses and butterfly bushes!

Sombra, did anyone mention to you that aloe vera only thrives in zone 9 to 11? And most of Canada was in zone 1 to 4 last time I checked (and I rather doubt they moved it, greenhouse effect or not).
Maybe if you actually planted zone-appropriate stuff?
Try "Tough Plants for Northern Gardens: Low Care, No Care, Tried and True Winners" by Felder Rushing. He is a hoot to read and has great suggestions for plants that will thrive as long as you put them in the earth 'green side up' and forget about them. I love his "Tough Plants for Southern Gardens" and feel sure the new book will be as good. It will be published by Cool Springs Press in January 2004 (ISBN: 1591860636).

LOL maybe that's why it died hehehehe green side up I can do, and forget about them I can do even better Maybe it will work after all. The only thing I didn't kill up to know - and it's indoor - were my two bonsai trees, and a new plant I got for my classroom in September - don't even know the name but it's still alive LOL
Maybe a book will help specially one that tells me about tried and true winners

Your favorite limo driver and designated driver reporting for service. WOW, this thread is busy, just like all your others. I guess that I am going to have to keep the big stretch limo for this piecing party gig. I see that I might have to take your thread's crew to the nursery to pick up some plants, soil, keg, and stuff. It is a good thing this limo has a big trunk. I will be parked in the usual spot, outside in the driveway.
New development guys. I do not know what to think here. H came back around 4, very tired and dropped dead on the couch. I was putting some things away and run into a piece of paper in his pocket. It says 'She's in Rm. 121 (already undressed) Thx' on one side and there is a name Elizabeth (not OW's BTW) with a phone number (in a different hand) on the other.
That same name and phone number had been in another paper he had left on the mantelpiece a few days ago.
What do I do now?
