He usually comes home right on the min I have to leave for work. Today he came in 5 min early. I got up, told the kids Daddy was here, and got my bag. The phone rang, I answered it and talked to my grandmother for a min before handing the phone off to my daughter. I kissed and hugged the kids and tickled my son a bit.I went to the fridge to get my dinner...he was standing in front of it. I said "I need to get in there." He opened the door, I got my stuff and walked back towards the kids. I told them I loved them and that I would see them in the morning. I looked over my shoulder and called out bye at the H and headed for the door. He called back in a somewhat confused tone "bye?" The whole time I was happy and smiling with a spring in my step.
