Hi Opt. Just caught up with your thread. So find the off button already! I am the queen of thinking positively these days and will bestow the same power to you.

Hope your weekend is going well. Have you kept busy with D skating and everything? Have you kept your mind off any negative thinking? Keep on doing what works.

Pam and I are going to figure out things to say to ourselves about being patient. Maybe we should also do a list of quick positives too.

I swear when I am in a tough spot that I hear all quick comments from the BB in my head! Does anyone else? It sure helps me.

Have a good day - off to D8's hockey practice.

Opt,

How are you doing? Did you get to go kayaking?

What is your gut telling you? Do you think H is just confused and having adjustment troubles being back home or is something really going on?

The boys and I survived on shiny and opt time, we were up till 2 on vacation and slept in almost every day! Hard getting S7 up for school this morning.

Hope all is well in your part of the world.

Hi everybody,

I had a very busy weekend and now I have a sick H on my hands. I will try to find time to post tomorrow. I am so tired I cannot think of anything to post. And lots of things have happenned in this few days.

Jackie, I am glad you enjoyed Disney with the kids. I know very well how you feel and my heart goes to you. But having been there and done that I KNOW that the actual separation was very good for me and for my H and for our M. I am convinced it will be also positive for you and your H. That said, of course, it does not make it any easier to bear during the acute period. Hang on girl, you can do it.

As to my H, I do not know what he is up to but he sure spends a lot of time with us. And me Time will tell I guess.

Good night, y'all

Hi Opt. I am glad you had a good and busy weekend! I posted earlier this evening to you, but it never showed up. It must be off in la-la land?!?!?

I thought that maybe you had heeded the advice some folks had suggested by taking a break from all R stuff for a while. But since I saw you around the BB this evening, I knew you were back!

So your H was sick huh? Two of my kids had a stomach virus last Wed-Thur and then I ended up with it on Fri-Sat. My H stepped in to take D8 to hockey and stayed to make them all dinner - so I didn't have to - .

I can't wait to hear about your happenings. Take care and have a good night!

Hello everybody,

Thanks for keeping up with my thread. I have been away for a couple of days for various reasons:

1. Work, I've been very busy and had no time to do anything, not even check my e-mail
2. I felt totally wiped out, so exhausted that I could not even feel things any more. Weird sensation, I know.
3. Reading my threads I felt that I did need a break from posting. Somehow posting the negative feelings was starting to become a self-fulfilling prophecy more than a opportunity to vent and get rid of the problem.

I did keep up with most people's threads, I just could not find it in me to post.

Let's go back to the weekend: I was working, so H and I took turns in taking care of our D, taking her to her skating lessons and stuff. Even then we managed to schedule both our works so that we spent most of the weekend together, even if it meant going to each other's workplace. Lots of time together. Lots of quality time

On Sunday, we went to the jeweller and had them resize our wedding bands. Should be ready next week.

And we did go kayaking, though we were supposed to go today again and H is sick. He came home early on Monday, very tired (I was too) and last night he has been runnig a high fever.

Have to go to a meeting. Will try to get back later.

H called around 2 pm saying he was tired and going home. He wanted me to pick him up later and go together to finish some work. Definitely paddling today is off.

Now, I am preparing seafood caserole for him (he only can tolerate soups and I run out of chicken yesterday). He keeps having high fever and body aches. Our D is being an angel and watching cartoons. We'll see if he gets some sleep tonight (did not last night).

I had hoped to go out for dinner when we go to finsh the work, but he is barely human.
