I enjoyed dating when I was separated while the D was pending. And I had no guilt that I was still legally married in the view of the state and courts. In my mind, I was already divorced. That is why I had no emotions when signing and getting word that my D was official in the eyes of the court.
I would suspect that Bobbi Jo's church has a similar view in that marriage is in the heart and not a piece of paper.
