Sounds like you pastor is heading in the direction my church took when it changed it's name and location about 5 years ago. I go to a Baptist church but you wouldn't really know it by looking. Ultra-contemporary worship services, lots of multi-media, a rockin' band, very contemporary music. The message is the same though. The belief system is the same, just wrapped in a package that speaks to more people who may not have been raised in a traditional church setting and are more comfortable. We wear jeans, shorts, suits, dresses....whatever you feel like. Very comfortable and non-judgemental so it speaks to more people.
