I do have concerns for my D, who was not even 2 when STBXH moved out.

She cried and cried when he moved out. She often asks about him and says she misses him.

I see a lot of desperate attempts to get H's attention, and hope this doesn't translate into unhealthy behaviors as she gets older.

I think when parents are happy and healthy, the children have more support. You back each other up.
