Well, things are still moving in a positive direction. TJ initiates a text conversation and I respond. He would usually end it after 2 or 3 exchanges, but he keeps it going.
He went to visit our little man, and sent me pictures, and a text update that night. I left the convo before he did.
I sent pics to him after I had my visit with my little man. Had a lovely visit.
Well he has no reason to text me, so I think he invented one. He was teasing me about the menu for Thanksgiving. 2/3 daughters will be w me, little man and fam are staying put. Since I have 2 vegetarians, the traditional turkey meal will not be eaten. D27 suggested salmon(the veggies have endorsed before I was told). Appearantly D27 had a convo with her dad and added squash soup. I had not heard.
TJ started teasing me. It was fun. As the new usual, he kept the convo going for about an hour. I think he was testing the waters for an invite,,, but he used many terms like ewww, yuck and yicks do describe how he felt about the soup!

So I hinted back about him coming to dinner.

I think I would rather look forward to a Christmas visit. That will be more irresistible to him, especially with new Grandson there. smile
I think this is happening folks! (my IC agrees!)
