I don't know since everything seems to push his buttons. He said no to copays, he knows you have been applying to different jobs but loves the idea of you working in a high risk job(at the gas station). He makes my head hurt. Maybe even a simple I am doing the best I can with the resources I have. Oh yeah that would make him hot, just like when my ex played the woe is me card and I said you put us all in this situation.

Maybe any kindness is lost on them and he only sees you as being a doormat because of it. Don't change a bit though, cause we adore you just the way you are!
