Yeah, my xh and I always had that kind of connection too. We'd dial each other at the same moment, when one of us was in a room completely jam packed with people we still could find each other and I always got a prickling at the back of my neck when something bad or extremely adrenaline inducing was going on with him (he was a cop). I understand that connection.

I still think it's pretty strange that he would make that kind of comment on your wall. It's not as if he's a super close friend that could make those kind of comments off the cuff. Hmmmmm....
