I think you are right, they are catching some fish or they wouldn't still be online...
For example I blew off both guys and they both have now left me alone...I am sure they found other fishies out there waiting to be hooked.
I think my challenge will be that I want the best of all worlds. The cultural interest of a Frasier Crane mixed with the country lifestyle of a cowboy farmer, mixed with the handiness of a carpenter/mechanic, mixed with the looks of Kyle Chandler (he plays the coach/dad on the tv series Friday Night Lights. He was also 'Buddy Jackon, fromt he road crew" on the movie Pure Country. My ideal looking man!).
That is a pretty big set of shoes to fill, but lucky for me I am patient!!
