Most kids in my experience love some form of art. There's always edible art. When my D's were little they loved to make and decorate cookies and the kitchen...;)
I swear that my skills with a pastry bag have come in sooo handy in ways you wouldn't have thought. Like triple glazing windows. Perhaps I just have an odd take on the world.
