I tried to condense the conversation and it must have lost something in translation.
Basically he texted asking what was up. I was tired and not in the mood for a text session after the debacle of a non-date I had. So I texted back that I was heading to bed.
His response: Oh yeah? And what you wear to bed LOL
Again, after gropey joe, I was not going to feed into that. So I deflected with
Me: Sorry to disappoint I am a t-shirt girl!
(Truth be told I wear any number of things depending on my mood incl. nighties, lingerie, etc but the standard is a tshirt)
His reply was something to the effect of "the sight of a woman in nothing but a tshirt can be just as hot as lingerie"
So he didn't actually say anything about trying too hard, I surmised that from his comments.
