You know...I stayed, I am raising 4 kids, I am doing 98% of the transportation for S17 back and forth to work. I'm not dating yet and they get to continue their fantasy life.

But soon S17's going to be driving right? I'm sure you will be dating when the time is right, and their fantasy life is just that a fantasy. There will be cracks and more cracks in that until it falls apart. I think of us and a few others here, and I think we've dodged a bullet in a way, with our D's at least how are X's are now anyway...

Home with sick d10. She says she feels like she could get sick at any moment. She is rarely sick and Miss bubbly is down to Miss fizz.

She is taking a bath and then I am off to get some soup and 7-up. Not exactly how I planned today.

Awww, poor baby. Soup and 7-up was always my mom's remedy too. To this day I can't drink 7-up unless I'm sick. If I try to drink it while I'm well it makes me sick! Weird, huh?

Hope your little one gets well quickly and that you don't contract the ick.

I was trying to find her the stuff that help stop the nausea, and had to go to two stores. She got worried about me and I didn't hear the phone. She even called my boss! I called her and then saw that he called. What a crazy morning. I am in for the rest of the day.

I'm in the same boat, Kat -- I've got S8 home sick today. I'm about to walk out the door with him to see the pediatrician.

I just hope the other kids don't get it! The boys are old enough to stay home but D9 would need me too. So glad I have only used two sick days this year so far and I still have some vacation time since I can't afford to go anywhere.

Here i thought I was doing pretty well all things considered and my boss asks me when I plan on taking the remainder of my vacation days. I said I still have to confirm holiday situation with ex since for some reason he believes he gets ALL the holidays this year. Made the comment that I didn't really want the girls to hang out with just "her" if he wasn't taking off too.

My boss says you need to get over all of that. I said come on I have come so far already, don't make me address even more now.(I hear myself as Dorothy there in OZ). Yet here I am realizing I do have so much further to go. I may just have to learn to like wine yet.
