I am the same way with the bars, clubs etc...

Though I have gone a couple of times just for something "new" to do - Not really my scene though...

I am bowling tonight to fill in for someone otherwise I would be at the house...

What about a movie? Paranormal Activity was pretty good...I personally have never gone to the movies by myself though nor a restaurant (another time/story lol)...

Hell go sit in a coffee shop with a good book and a fantastic cup of coffee/tea/cocoa.

smile

I can't remember the last time there was a movie in the theatre that I wanted to see. I looked at Fandango and nothing seemed interesting.

This is a possibility. I'll keep thinking.

Live music is always good, and it doesn't have to be at a bar. There's always somebody putting a show on somewhere- at coffee shops, book stores, conservatories, jazz clubs, etc. Look in the entertainment section of the newspaper.

I've been ceili dancing before, and it's a lot of fun. I didn't realize we had a group that was so close.

Course, you all would be welcome wink

Hi Trent, I'm new here and you've posted on my thread. Thanks for your input.

My problems is what do do. I have bouts of lonliness. At first I stayed at my sister's house. But soon, I felt that I was using that as a crutch. I needed to learn to enjoy being by myself again. I was thinking of taking a class also. What do you do that could be fun at the spurr of the moment? I have a hard time getting going. Sorry if I seem to hijack your thread.
To me, Oregon would offer alot of hiking or jogging, which I like to do.
