Yeah, she has. Money (or the lack thereof) is one. Since I'm often pretty low on funds I'm working on changing my idea of how important that is to me. Another is my daughter. For that, I have to view her behavior as I would a sponsee in AA (I'm a recovered alcoholic) and remember that she has to change herself and her behavior and I can't make her; all I can do is be there if she needs me, offer suggestions on what has worked for me, and if she doesn't take my suggestions seriously it isn't a failing on my part. IC told me I'm doing very well right now and could cut back on the visits if I'm comfortable with that, just call if I need to, but I decided to keep going. It keeps me grounded and thoughtful about my actions, which is where I need to stay.
We've started moving my XW's stuff back, and I bought a new bed for us today. We'll sign the adoption papers for my grandson Monday. My bankruptcy is almost done.
