I was thinking along those same lines. Today W will be in a lousy mood becasue she was up with son late helping him with his homework. Today after son goes to school I will ask her what she wants me to do. I will tell her that when she counters what I tell him in front of him it makes Me not want to say anything to him. One of the problems W has is she wants to be son's "Buddy" not is parent. I had a great night in shinning armor moment last night.... MIL (88) called wife to tell her she let some guy who said he was from the cable company into her house to talk to her about upgrading her service. Wife got very upset that she let a stranger into her house and I was not feeling too comfortable about it either. We just had a “home invasion” robbery in town where someone disguised themselves as a postal worker… Anyway son and I jumped into my car and went across town and drove around MIL neighborhood until we found this guy. I questioned him and he sounded legit. But now even if he was not he knows I know who he is. One thing he did say was it was great that I was checking up and keeping an eye on MIL’s house… Wife said she feels better that I checked the guy out when we got home…. Got ta go I have wood to move. Lost a sale to these “hippie” type people yesterday. Really strange people said the wood was too long (it was 16”) anyway they sell Goat milk ice cream….wow sounds tasty to me… (UGG). doc
