I must say...I'm very surprised at the financial committment W is making. It's not like some S's where a spouse stays with friends or family. She's taking very little from our house so she's spending a lot of $$$ on furniture, etc. That tells me this isn't going to be some short term S. W is moving out permanently.

As for the above, I wouldn't draw any final conclusions about this, one way or another. All this means is that in her CURRENT state, SHE thinks this is permanent.
My wife also thought that she would work full-time, get some add'l government assistance, and move into a townhome with OM. She's now home with me, not working at all (as she prepares to start her own business), and hasn't talked to OM in two years.
