Yeah, she had to log on, too. My guess is she started to log on to see if I had been logged on. I noticed yesterday that I couldn't see her profile, so I couldn't tell if she had been logged on. I was on every day or two, just looking around. But I hadn't contacted anyone. Other than you! What's funny is that a lot of times I just logged on to read her profile again.... kind of a refresher course.
Saturday night she was at home taking care of her son, who had had a medication change. I live about 20 minutes outside of Tucson, so when I go to Tucson, I say I am going to town, and when I go home, I am leaving town. Anyway, I texted her after I went shopping at Target to see if she was doing anything. She told me she was watching her son. I asked her to call later, if she could, and I went and got something to eat. When I was done I texted again and asked if she needed anything. She said, "no", so I said "Ok. I am headed out of town then". She took that to mean going out of town, like a trip or something. Then yesterday evening I called her, and she asked about my trip? I didn't have any idea what she was talking about. I finallt figured it out, and explained, but by then she was pretty much convinced I was lying about everything, and was contacting other women on match, and seeing them. I am guessing she has been seriously cheated on before (I know there was some, but not the whole story).
In the end, it might be just as well. If she is that willing to believe the worst, how could a long term thing work? There has to be some degree of trust, and I don't think she has it. And if she had once said that she would prefer me not log onto Match, I wouldn't have.
Like I said, the worst part is that she really believes I lied to her. That stings.
