Gima, Relax if you can and don't sweat the small stuff. Nothing you do or say will have a significant influence at this point. Stick to working on yourself like you have in the past.

Rings or no rings, call or no call, you'll drive yourself nuts. I know cause I've done it!

Has she said that since you've taken yours off? If so, she's not telling you she does it out of respect for you, it may be her way of letting you know she feels disrespected about you taking yours off.

You're probably right. In certain ways she has struck me over the months as a very "keeping up appearances" kind of woman.
'Course, as always, I could be wrong on both points. wink

No, Gardener, I think you are correct. Appearances are VERY big to her.

And, yes, she said the bit about wearing her ring out od respect for me last night, in the context of telling me its disrespectful for me to take mine off.

There's a flag down on the play!
Aw, c'mon. Inside jokes, obscure references are unfair!

OMG Greek! I almost said something about Hyacinth but wasn't sure how many here knew anything about "Keeping Up Appearances" so figured it might be lost on everyone. grin

Personally, I identify better with Daisy! smile She's a total mess and so am I. LOL!

@Greek and @Coach, I heard the theme music start in my head from Keeping Up Appearances as well.
