She has worn her wedding band every day. Not her engagement ring, but her band. She even said she did this out of respect for me.
Has she said that since you've taken yours off? If so, she's not telling you she does it out of respect for you, it may be her way of letting you know she feels disrespected about you taking yours off.

You're probably right. In certain ways she has struck me over the months as a very "keeping up appearances" kind of woman. 'Course, as always, I could be wrong on both points.
