I do not think one can measure how much one prays as a guide to how things will turn out. God hears our prayers, cries, praises, hurts, and so on. Some people meditate and pray at certain times, others on/off throughout the day and as if they are talking to someone in silence or out loud.
He will change you but it does take a very long time for the walk away spouse to have a total change of heart, if they do at all.
