I don't understand the metaphysical stuff at all, but I can understand the comfort and confusion in it.

If I understand correctly, you seem to be saying that you are just starting to realize how everything we do, say, react to, is interwoven and how we choose to handle that will affect the next step. Am I overthinking this? I tend to do that.......:)
