I so echo ^^ in that avoiding confrontation and being a pushover leads people to not respect [us]. I'm guilty of that too!

JCJ - you were so RIGHT - ABSOLUTELY RIGHT - to not give him the fifty quid. He went swanning off to the States and made all that fuss of "what present do you want me to bring you back" when you got nothing off him in the end!! Tell him that he can pay the £50 in lieu of that present!!!! LOL.

They take the biscuit these WASs - and when they can't upset us with anything else, it all boils down to money.

Oooh, I'm so angry for you Julia, I feel like going to that fencing class right now and socking it to someone with the biggest foil I can get my hands on!

Thanks for the recommendation - it's that or Tai Chi so will make my decision soon ... will probably come down to cost in the end as I hear that fencing can be expensive .. ??
