It's a cool manson that was built in the late 1800's (if memory serves). Mrs. Winchester was on the nutty side of things and kept adding onto it for over 30 years.
I've been there a few times and always enjoyed the tour. On Halloween and Friday the 13 they used to do flashlight tours.
You can goole it for all the details, but if your there, IMO it's worth the trip.
Winchester House is a rambling home that was built by the widow of the man who created and sold the Winchester Rifle. She built the house so that all the ghosts of the people killed by her husbands rifle would get lost instead of being able to find her.
