And with Mississippi River bed sand on the roads versus salt, always a great combo.

GOOD GOD! 14????? NO FREAKIN' WAY!!! OMG!

Well, Marc isn't getting his because of his grades. So there! He's ticked off about it but that's too bad. I'm ticked about his grades. grin

Is it sad that I'm getting nervous about having to spend that much time with Gabe tonight? Stupid isn't it? GAG!

The 'BIG BOSS' is coming in here in about 30 mintes (right as we are closing) to make a drop in visit. Oh joy. Our managers are going ape-schitt trying to get everything 'just so'. Heavens, you would think he was Jesus Christ himself coming.

Haha. I always love inspections at work. My managers do the same thing. *rolls eyes*

I wouldn't want to spend that much time with STBXH, so I understand.

And maybe that'll be an incentive Marc needs to get his grades together! Sounds like good parenting to me. smile

Good luck to your little Ninja!!! Mine hit the wall at the one-year mark. Refused to practice, threw fits about going (practice 3 nights/week!), etc so we decided to stop paying for something that was a struggle...so I am impressed that he is dedicated and keeps on trying....

Yes well, when you live in a rural area with not much in the way of public transportation, you're options are limited.

In some parts of the US you can drive a tractor at 11! Of course, they don't go very fast compared to cars lol. But it was just a practical necessity since the kids all worked on the farm.

Still a bit scary. I like the provisional license at 16 and full license at 18 bit.

GL to Marc tonight! He can do it obviously! smile And so can you! Don't let him get to you honey!

HE PASSED!!!! One more battle down! 3 to go. He has pre-test this Saturday from 1:30p-4p that Gabe is taking him to and then another pre-test 2 weeks after that. As long as he passes all of that, he then does his final black belt test the 2nd week of November. BIG SCARY STUFF!!!! I'm terrified that he's not going to pass. Praying that he does because I can't afford this anymore!

I only had to be in Gabe's presence for 30 minutes. Hardly said a word to him. He asked what I was doing this weekend and I told him. He just laughed and asked why and I told him because I want to and so do all of my friends. HA! He seemed pretty anxious to get away from me too so that was good. Not feeling upset over seeing him so that's good. I hope it doesn't hit later but I don't think it will if it didn't make me feel nauseous now.

Awesome job on Marc's passing!

But if I may pepper things a bit..........

I don't think it could have happened if you BOTH weren't involved.
