Went out to a bar Saturday night with a bunch of friends to see a band. One of the couples brought a friend along...a woman. She was attractive, nice and seemed quite interested in me. Nothing happened, but it sure was good for my ego. A little "social interaction" as Gucci describes was the right prescription.

Happy to hear you had some fun last weekend! A little ego boost is always good in my opinion.

Time to spend the tv money! What are you thinking, gym membership?

Just got the TV money over the weekend. Spent some of it on new clothes...the rest either gym membership or new tires (not fun, but needed). I was wearing my new clothes Saturday night...wonder if it was the clothes or my sparkling personality that caught the woman's attention...hmmm???

How was your long weekend away? Do anything fun? Oh...sorry about your Rockies frown.

Yay, new clothes are good! New tires should come out of the saved half, I expect you to keep your word and spend at least half that money on yourself. Gym membership, some type of class, new haircut, new toy...

Probably a combination of the new clothes, extra spring they put in your step because you feel good wearing them, and your sparkling personality! wink

My weekend was good. Went to my favorite rock star's concert with a girlfriend and her MIL, hung out with girlfriend's family, went out to dinner. Pretty lowkey but good to see them.

No worries about the Rockies, they aren't my team so I wasn't even paying attention to the playoffs. We did watch the bottom of the ninth last night but that's it. Now if it were the Mariners in the playoffs I would have been glued to the tv.

You've alluded to your "favorite rock star" a few times...what's the mystery? I need to know...who is it?

OK...I've got another $150 or so to spend on myself...I'll keep you posted.

There's nothing to be embarrassed about...I've got Tom Jones, The Partridge Family, Eddie Grant, AC/DC and Sir Mix-a-lot on my MP3 player.
