Being Me, I forgot to ask but what kind of experiences drove you away from the organized church? You mentioned there were similar experiences to mine. What might they be? It's hard for me to guage what is normal and acceptable in such environments because I was a non-churchgoer for thirty years previously. I'm not sure what is acceptable and me being sensitive and what is just not OK. You could say "if it feels like it's not OK, then it's not" but I know I'm pretty touchy these days!
