That was a hard way for me to deal with that sitch nightshade It went against everything my heart and brain were screaming at me to do. It is definitely an approach that I am going to have to remember Thank goodness I caught Shiny's post before I signed out...I was praying for a 2x4 and I got it at the right time

WEll you did it, and it really worked and believe me I am going to remember this next time it happens to me, and I will try to be strong enough to do it. I will keep you in my mind.
after that goal, maybe I should get another one.. stop the typos LOL I"m surely the queen of typos .. my mind works so much faster than my hands.. plus even after all these years my fingers still go to the letters as if I was using a portuguese keyboard - letters in different places !

Hugs to you

I am SOOO happy with how things went...Even I completely forgot the whole and entirely valid..."I'm a guy, I need it spelled out for me!!" angle!!!

You had a GREAT talk...stuff came out, no one went on the defensive...he HEARD you...and you heard him, too, right??

Smilin'!

Nightshade! I don't know about you being the Queen of typos I make a fair number of them myself...and one of my pet peeves is MISSPELLED words ! I always tell people my mind is fine...it's my fingers that are dyslexic

Is this refering to my tendency toward overly long posts?? I probably should apologise for that:) It takes me an hour on average for each post I make...med. to long. It takes me even longer on my own posts I have to slow my thought process way down or ya'all would end up reading nothing but gibberish because of the short circuit I have between my brain and my hands

I have a major tendency to forget this angle It seems kind of weird because I would say that I relate much better with guys then I do women. It appears that this only applies when I am not married to the guy though Of course I think my H is a bit of a conundrum since his attention span is that of a flea...I may be talking perfectly good sense and one of his friends will say Wow! That is right on the money! How'd you figure that out? while H will say HUH? I think it has something to do with that "selective hearing" problem they have

I hear, I heard Now if I can just get it to stay in my short-term memory file long enough for it to make it onto LONG-TERM hard disc_drive T !

Thanks again for your help Shiny...you were a godsend!!

I was curious about something...When the thread locks up is that becasue I have posted 100 times or there are over 100 replies on my thread?? I just noticed that I have gone over the 100 reply mark and am wondering how much longer before this thing locks up on me?

i do believe that it's actually the size of data that is in your thread that determines the lock down

i would recommend you starting to wrap this one up and starting a new one

Of course, you can always dare JJ to catch you and see if you can make it to 200 posts (we did Pam and I in my old thread: to 203)...

But Kitti is right. They usually shut you down between 100 and 160 posts.

It is time to think of another title. Something uplifting. Electric blue, perhaps? Kitti, please? (we need the expert here).

Zoo, I'm smiling as I catch up on your post, sorry I haven't been over in a few. Wow, to have a talk like that with my H would be a dream.

Congrats, and way to go on the keeping the accusations out of the discussion. I'm an overly critical person and sometimes it is completely unconscious. I so have to think before I talk with my H. I did a no-no the other day when I mentioned that I had heard his little jingle on his answering machine, was trying to be affirming and said what a great idea, catchy tune blah blah, that's when i get in trouble, the tongue keeps wagging then the But, I couldn't undrstand some of the words you were singing.

Wouldn't you know the next time I called the jingle was gone and instead there was a boring you have reached XXX-XXXX please leave a message. I hope he didn't talke it personal but he probably did, why can't I keep my mouth shut?!

Sorry to ramble so long on your thread. You are doing so awesome. Praying for the day that my H propositions me

Hah!

Anyway, blessings and Hope you're having a Great Night
