Wonderful weekend. Spent Sunday at church and the theatre. We struck the set, and I got home about 8pm. Exhausted, and slept for 12 hours!!! I love doing plays, but love having the time afterward. I messed up probably and told the art director (who does the sets with her H) that I would help out with painting and sets if they need it for the next play. But I will def. take the play off after that, b/c D9 wants to try out for the last play in February, and I might also, if I'm not too busy dating by then (I hope)!!! smile

Hate to admit it, but my cat has a better social life than I do! She's got a BF, who has camped outside our house for the past 24 hours. He was howling last night, but my poor kitty has been fixed, so he is wasting his time. What is the etiquette for kitty boyfriends, should I be giving him water or food or something???

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, and Dylan too!!! I don't mind too much not having a BF or H, but on birthdays and Valentine's day...

Yeah....men can be fixed too and still 'cat' around. grin (insert cheesy drum effect here)

Glad you had a FAB weekend K! It's so nice to get to the end of a project even if you've enjoyed doing it. Rest up!

DON'T FEED OR WATER THE CAT!! He'll never go away!

I was thinking give the tomcat some water -- from a water hose to run him off! (I value my sleep too much to be woken up by such visitors.) grin

(It's a good thing I don't have daughters -- I'd be the father on the porch cleaning his gun when the beaus showed up.)

Yeah, I love that idea!!! My dad was like that!!! He was a sweetie, but nobody mess with his D!

Good news! One of the teacher aides job I applied to called me for an interview tomorrow! I'm so psyched! It's at a local public school for special needs kids. Besides being a job I think I would love, it would have health benefits! and you can put your children into any school you want in the county (b/c D9's current middle school is not so good she's zoned for in 2 years). Plus, then I would work on getting certified with Elem. Ed. and English and maybe Special Ed too. (I just have to sign up and take the certification exams.) Plus, I'm totally flattered, I know when I applied for the same job at D9's school they said they had around 200 applicants, so just to get an interview I think is an honor. smile
