More hugs to you, Kat. I'm with Yoyo on checking to see if he can come in early for help as needed. A parent can only help so much, at his age.
It's good to teach him to go and get help as needed and to not be ashamed to do so. I remember having to go to a college professor about help and realizing that I had never had to do that in high school. I was scared half to death. Maybe if I had done it before college I wouldn't have been. It's a good life skill to ask for help when you need it.
