I think it may be a little of this. Not that you're jealous of the MOW but that maybe he has someone...Been there...That's why the whole detachment thing is so important so that no matter what he is doing it doesn't bother you.
The waking up sad thing, I still get that way, but it's less and less. Happened to me one day last week, it sux.
