Not sure if you've had any unprotected sex with her in the past several months, but if you have, you should probably go get a full-panel STD test done on yourself, to be safe.

I know, and I'm sorry to bring this stuff up, but I'm not telling you anything your own doctor wouldn't be telling you. Since you don't know how long the affair has been going on, I would suggest you get tested.
E, someone told me early on that "the sex isn't the worst part -- the disrespect is." I NEVER believed that. Because when I had MY first day, like you are now, it was all-consuming, as all I could think about was them together. But over time, I found that the DECEIT was worse than the sex, and the DISRESPECT -- to me, to our kids, to my mother-in-law and father-in-law -- WAS the worst part.
The pain of today WILL subside. It's okay to allow yourself to feel it for awhile . . . just DON'T make any DECISIONS based on it, okay?
